Maureen’s joined Love in Action at just 13 years old, when she was a young girl with dreams but limited opportunities. Through the support and care she received, Maureen found not only a safe space but also the tools to shape her future.
Today, at 23, Maureen stands empowered and confident as she prepares to graduate from the Love in Action scholarship program in July. She has gained valuable beauty parlor skills and is determined to one day open her own salon, creating both independence for herself and opportunities for others. Beyond her professional growth, Maureen has also found love and is excited to begin a new chapter as she prepares to marry the love of her life.
Maureen’s story is one of many made possible through the partnership between JJoy Foundation and Love in Action. Together, we are transforming lives — providing education, skills, and essential nutrition to young girls and boys in need.
