About Us

A Message from Our Founder

I have always loved traveling, learning and helping others.  It was in 2012 when the idea of combining these passions first became a reality for me on a service trip to Kenya. To experience the passion and dedication of community members and volunteers working together to make a positive impact was overwhelming.  Since then, I’ve never looked back!

Through the course of my volunteer work, I have been fortunate to meet so many truly amazing people who put their passion for helping others into action and inspire me every day.  Some of these people are heroes in their own communities, dedicating themselves to transforming lives for the better.  Others are volunteers and donors, like me, who feel the pull of philanthropy and are compelled to do whatever they can to help.  Bringing these individuals together for a common purpose is one of my greatest Joys.  I am excited for the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of people around the world.  Thank you for joining us as, together, we bring JJoy Foundation to life.
