Bridget’s Journey: A Story of Hope and Transformation

At just 22 years old, Bridget Ngwangwa stands as a powerful symbol of hope, resilience, and transformation. After losing both her parents at a young age, Bridget’s future seemed uncertain. Like many orphans, she faced the harsh reality of limited access to education, proper nutrition, and emotional support.

Heading Down a New Path

Bridget’s story took a different turn when she found a home and a second chance through Love in Action. With consistent support — food to provide nourishment and physical well being, academic assistance to stay in school, and spiritual care to strengthen her inner resilience — Bridget was able to rise above her circumstances. Step by step, she rebuilt her life, completing her high school education against all odds.

Coming Full Circle

Today, Bridget is pursuing a Diploma in Business Administration at Lilongwe Institute of Science and Technology, a dream that once felt out of reach. She now walks with confidence, purpose, and determination to build a better future for herself and contribute meaningfully to her community.

Making a Bright Future Possible

Bridget is a shining example of what is possible when compassion meets opportunity. This transformation would not be possible without the close partnership between JJoy Foundation and Love in Action.  Through this collaboration, we are blessed to reach many vulnerable children — providing care from elementary school through to college.

Together, we are not just changing individual lives — we are shaping a generation of productive citizens for Malawi. Join us in supporting this life-changing mission.

Because every child, like Bridget, deserves a chance to dream, to grow, and to succeed.
