In August 2025, JJoy Foundation initiated a project with our partner Volunteer Building Cambodia to provide a family with a sanitary latrine, clean water system and solar power. This project was funded by donations from JJoy’s amazing donor Doris Sweet.
Let’s meet the family!
Nep and his wife Samnang live with their 2 daughters and his elderly mother on the outskirts of Siem Reap. Yeab struggles with old age and poor nutrition but does her best to help around the house. Samnang and Nep work as construction laborers. Between them, they can make up to $8 per day on days when work is available. They are dedicated to finding a way to keep their kids in school and currently the daughters are in Grade 6 and Grade 2.
This project will be life changing. Congratulations!
