Construction: July 2024

In July 2024, JJoy Foundation initiated a project with Volunteer Building Cambodia to provide a family with a home, sanitary latrine and solar panel.  This project was funded entirely by donations from JJoy Supporters Dennis and Marion Geiser.

Let’s meet the family!

Pisith works intermittently as a construction worker earning $7 per day. Oun is currently pregnant and stays home to ensure that she remains strong and healthy. Their son Pavin is currently studying in grade 1.

Over the course of one week, this family’s future changed before their eyes.  They are thrilled to be moving into this safe home before the birth of their second child!
