Blog: JJoy’s Work in Nepal is Expanding

Picture this: panoramic vistas, fluttering prayer flags, majestic peaks. Feel the calmness of the day, hear nothing but the wind and the steady beating of your own heart. In today’s busy world, this seems almost too peaceful to be real. But it is exactly the scene that plays out every day in the remote Mustang district of Nepal.

Volunteers on JJoy’s November team will witness this transcendent beauty and so much more as they bring healthcare to Upper Mustang. They will not only serve local residents at free mobile health clinics, but join the community to celebrate the opening of our Permanent Health Clinic in Tsonup. YOU made all of this possible. We are forever grateful for your support.

As a champion of Himalayan Guge Organization and JJoy’s work in Nepal, we want to share our exciting future plans with you first. We heard your feedback and will now run TWO service trips to Nepal in 2026:

  • May 2-10, 2026: Our first health camp in Lower Mustang – a more compact (and warmer!) version of our Upper Mustang Health Camp
  • November 7-21, 2026: Our annual return to Upper Mustang

Email tricia@jjoyfoundation.org to learn more, including how you can join one of our teams.

We’ll be sharing social media updates from our 2025 Health Camp in November. We invite you to follow along and share this work with others. Who knows? Maybe it will be the inspiration you need to join us in 2026. ❤️

Thanks again for your continued support for JJoy’s mission in Nepal – your generosity is making a difference!
