In April 2024, JJoy Foundation initiated a project with our partner Volunteer Building Cambodia to provide a family with clean water well. This project was funded entirely by donations from an AMAZING JJoy donor who wishes to remain anonymous.
Let’s meet the family!
Poeur is 29 years old and stopped studying in grade 4. He supports his family by working as a potato farm laborer and earns up to $7.50 per day. His wife Klev stays at home taking care of their sons Tina and China who both attend school.
They have been struggling to access clean water so this well is a life changing gift!
One Year Update: DATE
Since receiving their new water well one year ago, this sweet family has seen significant improvements in their health and hygiene. These advancements have allowed them to work more efficiently and consistently, improving their financial situation and providing better stability for their family. The kids also attend school more regularly since they are ill less often. The future is bright!
