Blog: Success Story: Stanley’s Journey

Restoring Hope

Stanley (17) is living proof that hope, opportunity, and consistent support can transform a life. After losing his parents, Stanley was raised by his grandparents. Love in Action–Malawi welcomed him into its afterschool and feeding program while he was still in primary school, giving him a safe place to learn and grow.

In 2022, Stanley was selected to attend the Chipoka Secondary School in Salima District and received a LIAM high school scholarship. Through dedicated study and faithful support, he completed the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) secondary school examinations in July 2026 and is now eagerly awaiting his results with the dream of enrolling in college next year.

Stanley’s journey is a testimony to what is possible when compassionate partners invest in a child’s future. His education has been made possible through the enduring partnership between Love in Action–Malawi and the JJoy Foundation. Their generosity is not simply paying school fees—it is restoring hope, unlocking potential, and shaping the next generation of leaders.
