Blog: Success Story: Hardwell’s Journey

Hardwell Biliat Kantande’s journey is a powerful testimony of how strategic partnerships can transform lives.

In Grade 4, Hardwell began receiving nutrition and educational support through the afterschool program implemented by Love in Action-Malawi with financial support from partners such as JJoy Foundation. Coming from a vulnerable background, the support provided him with more than meals and school assistance—it gave him hope, stability, mentorship, and the opportunity to dream beyond his circumstances.

Through years of consistent encouragement and investment in his education, Hardwell remained focused and determined. And last Friday, Hardwell became a proud graduate of Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), having earned a Diploma in Agriculture Education with Credit.

Hardwell’s achievement is a testament to the life-changing impact that community-centered programs and committed partners can achieve together. The transformation seen in Hardwell’s life—from a young child in need of support to a confident college graduate—demonstrates that when organizations, donors, and communities work together strategically, they do not simply fund programs; they shape futures, restore dignity, and build leaders for tomorrow.

CONGRATULATIONS HARDWELL!
