Great things are happening in Cambodia! In April, an anonymous donor funded a new home for this lovely three-generation family and since that time, their lives have drastically improved! With safe and dry shelter, along with a hygienic latrine, the family experiences illness much less frequently and they have been able to work more steadily and increase their earnings. In addition, since the need to spend money on home repairs has significantly reduced, they have been able to reallocate their earnings toward increasing the size of their rice farm. They now hope to generate additional income through the sale of surplus rice for the first time during the next harvest cycle. 

JJoy Foundation partners with Volunteer Building Cambodia – VBC to help realize change in the lives of families like this one. So far over the past year, 9 families (35 individuals) have directly benefited from this partnership. Stay tuned for updates on our next projects in December!
