During the week of building, the team is working side by side with the beneficiary families.  Everyone is so excited for the change that is taking place before their eyes!  Here, JJoy Volunteer Dennis works with a homeowner to build a staircase for her new home. Out with the old and in with the new! The first task on a Volunteer Building Cambodia (VBC) build is often to remove the old house in order to clear space on the land owned by the family for their new home. Tools are organized and the materials - which have been cut and welded …

One of the most exciting moments of any volunteer trip happens when the team meets the beneficiary families for the first time!  These two sweet families were such a Joy to work with.
