Volunteers who participate in a JJoy Volunteer Trip to Cambodia witness first hand the impact safe shelter has on a family. When teams arrive, their first order of business is to take down the families current home – often an unstable shelter made of palm leaves, plastic and sticks. Over the course of a week, a metal frame stilt house is constructed and on Friday, the family’s new life begins! We would love for you to be a part of a future trip – email us today for information on how to join a scheduled build or lead your own group future team! Many thanks to Volunteer Sarah for so perfectly capturing this wonderful transformation.
