Our clinic in Tsarang was a big success! Volunteers working with doctors at this event organized by our partner Himalayan Guge Organization saw a total of 176 patients over 2 days. This clinic is based on eastern (Tibetan) medicine under the system of Sowa Rigpa – the Science of Healing. Each patient receives a blood pressure check, one on one consultation with the doctor, medication and treatment. Treatments include acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping and bloodletting. The team will be taking a break for cultural activities and then get back to work serving additional villages.
